CLASS PROJECT: GRAVITY POWERED LIGHT
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DESIGN
This class had students develop a product for a developing nation. We found a need for clean, efficient lighting in Mongolia. Through Quality Function Deployment and Morph Charts we developed a gravity-powered light and manufactured a prototype.

CLASS PROJECT: AMBULANCE SLIDING DOOR
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CAPSTONE
Spring 2019
This class had students work with a local industry partner to solve a real issue they are tackling. A local ambulance manufacturer wanted to provide their customers with a side sliding door to accommodate tighter spaces and automatic door operations. We designed and manufactured an automatic sliding door with manual override.
This project is under a non-disclosure agreement, the work shown here has been approved for the public.
